The wineries participating in the event

The Volcei Wine Jazz event represents a unique experience combining the culture of wine and the allure of jazz, enriched by art and history.

Wine, both yesterday and today, is a vehicle for socializing and connecting with others, and drinking wine together has always been a symbol of celebration, sharing ideas, and strengthening social bonds.

Music, Wine and Art

Volcei Wine Jazz, grown over the years, was created to celebrate the perfect combination of wine and culture, an essential expression of a territory's heritage.

Cantina Bello

Cantina Bello was founded in 2016 in Albanella, a town of just over 6,200 inhabitants in the province of Salerno, nestled between the Gulf of Salerno and the Alburni Mountains, perched on a hill overlooking the entire Sele Plain. Albanella tends to develop on the flatlands and small hills between the Sele River and the Calore Lucano to the north and Monte Soprano to the south.

The estates of Ciro Bello, a well-established accountant from Salerno who decided to live a second life among the vines for the sake of rural serenity and wine, are located approximately 50 meters above sea level, and the vines grow on calcareous-marly soil, with sandstone and silt formations, and some pebbles, typical of alluvial plains. The Amemì Rosato Colli di Salerno IGT from Cantina Bello boasts a decidedly voluptuous and intriguing appearance, starting with its color: intense coppery onion skin, tending towards amber, with those reflections and that lively light that warms the heart at first sight.

Azienda Rossella Cicalese

Rossella Cicalese is a project born from the passion and determination of a family committed to renewing a time-honored agricultural tradition.

In 2012, Rossella realized her dream of producing quality wine, rediscovering the land inherited from her grandfather, which had always been cultivated with vegetables, fruit, and other typical produce from the Eboli area. What began as a family passion—a wine produced for personal use—has become a business that has won over a growing number of enthusiasts. Located in the heart of Campania, the Rossella Cicalese winery stands out for its dedication to the terroir and the quality of its wines.

Its labels convey not only the vitality and tradition of Cilento, but also its unique aromas and colors: freshness, fruitiness, savory flavors, and structure, enhanced by the proximity of the sea. Sustainability is at the heart of its production, which is evolving toward organic methods, with a particular focus on biodiversity and the environment. Every stage of production is an act of care: manual labor in the vineyards, hand-picking the grapes, and meticulous winemaking guarantee authentic, high-quality wines. The company's commitment to respecting the plants' natural cycles isn't a fad, but a profound commitment to the future of the land and fine wine.

Azienda Carlo Polito Viticoltori

Polito Viticoltori was born in the 60s when Vito Polito planted the first vineyards on the gentle hills of Agropoli, right in front of the sea. At the beginning the grapes were mostly sold, and only a small part of them was vinified, just for family needs. In 2000, after the re-implantation of part of the vineyards by the Vito’s son, Vincenzo, a phytopathologist specialized in viticulture, a big change occurred in the company. During 2005 the first 5,000 bottles of Cilento Bianco DOC and Aglianico Cilento DOC were bottled.

Actually, the company has about 10 hectares of vineyards in its production, and lately new vineyards have been planted. The old family winery leaved the place to a large and functional structure equipped with large spaces both for processing and for refining in oak, where modern winemaking methods enhance the quality of the product without taking anything away to tradition. And now, from this way, we produce about 60,000 bottles/year.

Le vigne di Rosa

"Le Vigne di Rosa" winery was founded in 2017 from the ideas and entrepreneurial spirit of brothers Pierfrancesco and Lorenzo Lambiase, young men passionate about the Irpinia region and its grapes.

Originally from Salerno, the brothers developed the idea of growing grapes in the Lapio and Tufo areas, renowned for their excellent DOCG white wines.

Their winery actually took its first steps in the wine market with two signature wines, Fiano di Avellino and Greco di Tufo, with a small production of 5,000 bottles.

After a brief period of acclimatization and familiarity with the vineyards, the brothers bottled their wines for the first time in 2019. Their wines are distinguished by being produced entirely from their respective grape varieties and by meticulous workmanship using the most innovative transformation techniques.

Tenuta Macellaro

Tenuta Macellaro is a winery founded in Postiglione, in the province of Salerno, in the early 1950s by Ciro Macellaro and his wife Maria Fragetta, who decided to invest in the local area by applying the so-called short supply chain: from producer to consumer.

The initial profits were used to invest in the company itself, aiming for exponential growth. The baton was passed first to their son Giovanni and then to their grandson Ciro, who became the winemaker in 2010. In 2011, Tenuta Macellaro was founded, boasting over six hectares of vineyards and over five hectares of olive groves.

Tenuta Macellaro's geographical location, at the foot of the Alburni Mountains, where the clear waters of the Calore River flow, allows it to excel in the taste and flavor of its products.

Tenute Lunelli

Drawing on three generations of winemaking experience, the Lunelli family has chosen to fully cultivate its passion for winemaking excellence, combining the successes achieved with Ferrari Trentodoc with a collection of high-quality still wines, the expression of three wineries in three Italian regions: Tenuta Margon in Trentino, Tenuta Podernovo in Tuscany, and Tenuta Castelbuono in Umbria.

After decades of commitment, this widespread project of agriculture and life, quality and beauty, is encapsulated in the Tenute Lunelli brand, a seal chosen to express the uniqueness of areas particularly suited to winemaking through wines capable of expressing their terroir with depth, and whose distinctive features are elegance and longevity.

Ù Spinnu

U Spinnu, word used in the Sicilian dialect, literally means desire , desire to... Used exclusively for food: Mi vinni u spinnu di... I felt like... .

Aldo and for some years now, together with his wife Valentina, decided to bring the products of his land primarily to Campania, the region where he lives, and then around Italy. Sicilian cuisine is known all over the world especially for the arancina and the cannolo but they are only the two symbolic products of his splendid island. This project was born out of the joy of sharing his origins with friends and acquaintances and then it became a real "hobby-work".

In 2021 they made this project concrete by deciding to open the first all-Made in Sicily Store.

Al-Cantara

Al-Cantàra is a winery founded in 2005 with the aim of expressing the excellence of Etna wines through a unique combination of art, poetry and winemaking tradition.

The estate that houses the Al-Cantàra project, in its early days had signs of the critical issues the sector was experiencing in the early 20th century. Phylloxera, reduction of vineyards and conversion to other crops. In fact, of the approximately 20 hectares, only 4 were planted with vines. The remainder was all converted mainly to hazelnut and olive groves.

These vineyards were Nerello Mascalese bush-trained converted to espalier. And 2000 vines of this oldvineyard present the free foot while the remainder are grafted on American rootstock. Then a small vineyard of Grecanico, used often to produce a house blend. T

The winery is located on the slopes of Mount Etna, in an area historically devoted to viticulture, where the volcanic soil and favorable climate create optimal conditions for the growth of native grape varieties.

Al-Cantàra produces ETNA DOC and Terre Siciliane IGP wines, using only grapes harvested from its own vineyards. The main grape varieties grown include Nerello Mascalese, Nerello Cappuccio and Carricante, which are joined by international varieties such as Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon, chosen to broaden the range without compromising quality.
