The 13th edition of Volcei Wine Jazz, which exceptionally took place in a winter version, concluded with great enthusiasm and satisfaction.
The event, which brought together audiences and industry professionals, featured musical performances and excellent tastings. Organized by the Pro Loco Buccino Volcei with the valuable support of the Regione Campania, it once again celebrated the incredible richness of the Volcei territory.

By concluding this edition, the festival has demonstrated that the fusion of history, music, wine, and tradition is a winning formula, capable of establishing Auletta, Buccino, and Valva as one of the most fascinating and historically rich destinations in Campania. The event was a unique opportunity to make an experience in a setting that unites the history and culture of the area. Now in its 13th edition, the festival was an extraordinary opportunity to discover the authentic soul of Valva, amidst its sounds, flavors, and natural beauty. This event was made even more special thanks to the support of the "Pro Loco d'Ayala", keeper of local traditions.

Volcei Wine Jazz Winter Edition in Auletta
Auletta hosted the first two stages of Volcei Wine Jazz: a blend of culture, wine, and music.
On Friday 21 and Saturday,22, the evocative "Complesso Monumentale dello Jesus" hosted Volcei Wine Jazz, an ambitious cultural project funded by the Regione Campania as part of the Public Notice for the promotion and enhancement of regional territories.
The first two evenings were a resounding success, offering a perfect blend of the art of wine tasting, local history, and the energy of jazz music.


Volcei Wine Jazz returns in its Winter Edition!
The Winter Edition of Volcei Wine Jazz will take place on March 21st, 22nd, and 23rd, thanks also to the support of the Campania Regional Tourism Agency.
This year's event also includes two Masterclasses, on February 17th at the "A. Galizia" Institute in Nocera Inferiore and on February 18th at the "Vairo" Institute in Agropoli. Both Masterclasses will include activities on road safety under the theme "Drinking Responsibly," in collaboration with ACI (Italian Automobile Club) and the Ready2Go network. Students will also be introduced to the language of jazz, with both practical and theoretical explanations by Maestro Andrea Rea, Maestro Tommaso Scannapieco, and Maestro Bruno Salicone, renowned jazz musicians.
Masterclasses are also scheduled during the event, before the concerts, with the presence, in addition to the artists already mentioned, of Giusi Mitrano, jazz singer, and Daniele Scannapieco, one of the most important protagonists of the contemporary jazz scene.

Masterclasses February 17 and 18, 2025
On February 17th, the Volcei Wine Jazz event kicked off at the Galizia Institute in Nocera Inferiore and on February 18th at the Gino Rossi Vairo Comprehensive Institute in Agropoli. This initiative is co-funded by the Campania Region as part of a public call for proposals promoted by the Campania Regional Tourism Agency. These two days were particularly intense for the many young people in attendance, who, in addition to immersing themselves in music, participated in various activities designed to promote the region.
The Pro Loco of Buccino achieves great success with the "Volcei Wine Jazz" project
The Pro Loco of Buccino has received a prestigious award for its "Volcei Wine Jazz" project, which was approved as part of the public call promoted by the Campania Regional Tourism Agency. The project was included in the final ranking of eligible proposals, pursuant to Decree No. 303 of November 14, 2024, issued by the Agency's Director General.

The Volcei Wine Jazz event represents a unique experience that celebrates the encounter between the culture of wine and the allure of jazz, enriched by art and history.
In the evocative setting of Buccino, ancient Volcei, wine and music lovers gather for a total immersion, thanks to an innovative festival that engages a wide range of talents and sectors.
Among the initiatives proposed will be food tastings paired with local wines, with a special focus on fine wines from Campania and Salerno, encouraging responsible consumption.
Furthermore, the event stands out for its commitment to actively engaging the community and stakeholders through workshops, collaborations with local artists, and educational initiatives in schools.
The festival takes place in a setting rich in history, with archaeological finds dating back to the 6th and 4th centuries BC, testifying to the ancient winemaking tradition in the Volcei area.
